Meet Peanut

Peanut is a sweet, 2 1/2-year-old Malti-Poo with a soft blonde coat and an even softer heart. Weighing just 6 pounds, this gentle little lady is looking for a loving home where she can feel safe and cherished again.

Peanut came to our shelter due to changes in her previous owner’s life circumstances. While this transition has been difficult for her, she remains a kind, affectionate, and gentle soul. The kennel environment has left her feeling a little out of sorts, and we know she will truly blossom once she’s back in the comfort of a loving home.

Peanut has recently been professionally groomed, is up to date on her yearly booster vaccination, and is scheduled to be spayed soon, making her well on her way to being ready for her new beginning.

Peanut is one of two sisters—her sister, Maggie, is also available for adoption. They have shared their lives together, and while each deserves a wonderful home, our greatest hope is to see them adopted as a pair so they can continue to provide one another with comfort and companionship.
