Meet Pongo!

Pongo is a 3 1/2-year-old, neutered Australian Shepherd mix weighing close to 40 pounds. He is a friendly, people-loving boy with a happy personality and is always excited to meet someone new. Whether you’re family, a friend, or a complete stranger, he’ll happily greet you with a wagging tail and a warm welcome.

Moderately active, Pongo, enjoys daily walks, hikes, games, and spending quality time with his people, but he’s also content to relax at home after his exercise. He’s the perfect balance of adventure buddy and couch companion.

When it comes to other dogs, Pongo, is selective and does best with slow, thoughtful introductions. He can build positive relationships with the right canine companions, but he prefers not to be rushed when meeting new dogs. His ideal home will understand his social style and help him continue to have successful experiences.

Above all else, Pongo adores people. He’s affectionate, loyal, and loves being included in whatever his family is doing.
